How does aethir plan to differenciate itself from other projects in the cloud space? Decentralized cloud compute provider. GPU compute focused. Gaming, AI, virtualized compute. Most other providers use compute from home pcs, "consumer grade" compute. Aethir uses enterprise grade compute. Sourced compute from datacenters, mining operations, etc. NVIDIA inception member. Largest H100 in the space. 4,000+, biggest enterprise GPUs in the DEPIN space.

What are the benefits of staking and how does it contribute to growth and stability of the network? Reward for staking tokens. Help support by governance (voting) to make decisions on the network. Providers will be required to stake to participate in order to meet thir SLAs. There will also be staking products on their own. Details announced soon. Locked in a few ecosystem partners to airdrop to stakers.

In what ways does aethir prioritize community and feedback? A big portion of the marketing team is focused on the community. Community is usually the biggest promoter of a product and is integral to Aethir's success. The community purchases checker nodes, aethir edge devices, an Aphone supporter, and let others know about the products. This has been a massive contributer to Aethir's success.

What are some key milestones in development that we can look forward to in the coming months? Listings on exchanges next wednesday. Next few months are critical. Now that the node sale is done and listings are announced, this is the "IPO moment" for Aethir. So in the next few months, successful listing. Launch of staking products. Rewarding node holders. More partnerships. Ecosystem improvements. Grow the AI/Gaming use-cases. Product improvements. Cloud infra is not yet there yet. The cloud infra will need to be added via API/SDK to integrate more products and generate more revenue.

Can a node-runner use a VPN to connect to the internet and run a node? No-comment. (yes)

Do we need to run a checker node on testnet or wait for mainnet? People have been running nodes on testnet right now and helping improvements. Once the TGE, people can run on mainnet, people can run and earn tokens. For the people who have been providing feedback on testnet, we have taken a note of them and will provide incentives for them.

Why is the airdrop going to be on ETH mainnet and not ARB? More liquidity on the ETH network and exchange listings. Makes sense to have token on Ethereum to do ERC20.

How is the airdrop for node-holders from partners? How will that work? How am I going to claim it and when? I n the case of airdrops from ecosystem partners, there can be multiple different ways depending on the partners. Some will get direct airdrops. Other partners will setup a claim process from their own sites. There could be a case where this is a raffle system with some ecosystem partners.

What exchanges will be listed and when will they take place? Bybit, Bitfinex, OKX next wednesday 6/12. Stay tuned and be active for further announcements regarding listings and dates.

Will the cloud-drop claim process be immediate or will it wait some period of time to be executed? It will be immediate that it will go live when the mainnet goes live. (Sometime next week) - It will be ongoing in the sense that there will be a window of opportunity to claim. Solana partners require an EVM wallet to be connected before the 9th. (Madlads, Boden, etc)

When is mainnet going to occur? Will checker/edge be ready immediately? Mainnet will launch at the time of listing. 6/12. Checker nodes will go live on the mainnet on that date. Edge devices might start to be live around pre-launch or there may be a testing period. Full launch expected soon.

Badges have been an important area of discussion. Will each cloud drop badge receive an equal airdrop distribution or will they be weighted? Airdrop badges should be relatively equal for the entire community, but the number of distributed tokens will vary due to number of people in those communities. Node holders have something else special allocated to be announced later.

Is KYC required for cloud drop claiming? No

How will Aethir try to expand it's marketing/footprint? We are continuing on growing the team. Marketing inititives, etc. We can never do enough as far as marketing and are open to the community getting involved. Major parter campaigns are planned almost on a weekly basis and Aethir plans to continue that.

If my wallet is connected to the discord and I participate, but have no transactions, does it count for Sybil? Not 100% sure of the mechanism. Let's make a note and respond properly from the team after the AMA. - It depends. It depends on how Sybil will be defined and implemented. Will follow-up with more clarity later.

Is our airdrop claim going directly to our wallet or will we have to pay gas fees? There is a claiming process to be released. Don't click on any random links you see anywhere. Wait for the official announcements. There will be gas fees since it is a user-initiated transaction.

STAGE QUESTIONS

Roniedy : Question about Tokenomics. Tokenomics states that 50% of tokens to go nodes. 15% checker 23% edge nodes... where is the remaining percentage going? 50% is for Aethir rewards total : 15% is for checker nodes. 35% for container nodes. Edge is a compute device as well. The way it is structured is that the 23% for edge is coming out of the 35% and the remainder goes to the enterprise compute providers.

Newton: What are the risks associated with Aethir tokens? With every token, the risks are price fluctuations, smart contract risks, etc. Similar to the rest of crypto.

Suzie : When will checker nodes and edge go online on the mainnet? Covered earlier. Mainnet will launch at the time of listing. 6/12. Checker nodes will go live on the mainnet on that date. Nothing concrete at this time. Edge will release after the mainnet Suzie : A house can run more than 1 aethir edge devices. Can I have 2 edge devices purchased shipped to the same address? Yes, if you were able to purchase them, you can have all of them delivered and you can run all of them if you have the bandwidth.

Kiyansh : How much tokens will you get for a cloud-4 role? My understanding is that we cannot disclose any airdrop numbers at this time.

artkrypto : If checker is on ARB, what do we do with Ethereum wallet? - What doee that mean by multi-signer? Your metmamask wallet will cover everything, the message doesn't apply to a metamask wallet so you will be ok.

paname : I have 3 nodes. I wanted to know if I can run them on a single VPS or do I need 3 different ones? it's exactly the same as it would be on testnet with 1. There will be a guide on how to run checker nodes that can be used. Yes, you can run all 3 on a single VPS instance, as long as the VPS meets the hardware requirements.

NCrypt : Edge question - How many edges are you planning to hand out this year? Good question. I don't want to respond specifically to this question, however I don't know exactly the plan for this year. We will have to take a note for later NCrypt : Concerns about shipping or customs. Will people get an invoice for custom clearance? At the moment we have 3 rounds of sale for around 10,000 unites (previous question) - So far we haven't had any red flags around customs or shipping to any of the non-restricted countries, but we can have the edge team respond specifically later. (follow up later on) Kartik - Shipping for Edge is covered, and every country has their own customs issues with different countries, so it will vary.

1984CAT : Airdrop - As we are moving towards the TGE.. what is the initial supply that we are putting in on the TGE? Is the airdrop vested? Airdrop is 6% into 3 diferent phases. 1.5% is not vested distributed at TGE. (some percentage 8? locked) The best way to get airdrops in the future is to stake your airdrop.

subhamtewari_e2 : I am a node holder. how long can I hold my node? what happens to my node after 4 years? can I sell my node? The node is locked for one year. After one year, you can sell it any way you want. We need people to run the nodes early which is why it is locked for a year. There will be more incentives for those to hold it. After 4 years, the nodes don't become worthless. Aethir needs the checker nodes, so after that period there will be a governance vote to replenish the reward pool from slashing, etc. There will be a pool repenishment so rewards do not end after 4 years.
